Fully Funded Cyber Essentials Plus for Small Charities and Legal Aid Firms in UK

A programme of funding has been launched to help UK organisations gain vital Cyber Essentials Plus certification.

This Funded Cyber Essentials Programme will initially target small and micro-organisations (0-49 staff) in two key sectors – charities and legal aid. These sectors have been identified as ‘high risk’ if targeted by a cyber-attack, often with limited financial resources and highly sensitive data.

The funding will enable organisations to work with Cyber Essentials Certification Bodies such as PureCyber, to implement baseline security controls, helping to prevent the most common types of cyber-attack.

Organisations that are eligible have until the end of March 2023 to apply to be part of the programme.

To find out more about the fully Funded Cyber Essentials Programme, or to register your interest, visit IASME’s Charities & Legal Aid Fully Funded Cyber Essentials Information page here.

In addition, if you are a law firm in Wales regardless of size, you can also access fully funded Cyber Essentials or part funded Cyber Essentials Plus. Find out more and register for funding at our Law Firms Funded Cyber Essentials page here.
